Cuba Embassy Legalization

Preparing U.S. paperwork for a family matter, studies or another procedure in Cuba? Miami Dade Apostille can help coordinate Cuban embassy legalization for eligible documents from all 50 states and federal authorities. Send copies and the receiving office's instructions so we can review the records, Spanish translations and required certifications together. For documents that require the full legalization chain, we can help coordinate state authentication, federal authentication and embassy legalization. The required steps depend on the document and destination. Government and consular authorities issue the certifications; our team coordinates the required services.

Review the original and Spanish translation together

Cuba is not a party to the Hague Apostille Convention, so an apostille alone does not replace Cuban consular legalization when that legalization is required. For foreign documents used in legal procedures in Cuba, the Cuban consular guidance calls for Spanish translations with notarial certification. It also specifies properly signed originals or faithful copies for U.S.-issued documents. We can help review the copy, signature and translation format before you send your paperwork. Legalization does not replace a marriage procedure, civil registration, citizenship application or other separate consular service.

Arrange eligible service from Cuba or abroad

Eligible mail-in document services can be coordinated with our team without traveling to the United States solely for our service. Confirm the required format and return arrangements before sending originals. Worldwide return shipping is available subject to destination and carrier availability. Signing, record-access and government attendance requirements remain separate, and the receiving authority decides whether a document is accepted.

Miami Dade Apostille is a private document coordination service, not a government agency or law firm. We do not provide legal advice, complete applications, determine requirements, or issue government records, authentications or consular legalizations. Clients must confirm requirements directly with the Cuban embassy, consulate or receiving authority. Government and receiving authorities decide eligibility and acceptance.
