Start with your document and destination
Contact Miami Dade Apostille with clear copies, the receiving institution's instructions and your deadline. A Fort Pierce court judgment, Florida birth certificate and IRSC transcript can need different preparation. Our team reviews the document and coordinates the agreed service. Send required originals or certified copies to Miami Dade Apostille only after we confirm the format and delivery instructions.
Understand the stages before arranging delivery
Obtaining a missing record, certification or notarization, authority processing, translation and any further legalization are separate stages. An apostille authenticates an official signature or seal; it does not confirm every statement in a document or guarantee acceptance for every purpose. Our team helps coordinate the sequence while you confirm the receiving institution's requirements.
Processing time and eligible same-day service
Standard state processing can take months. Miami Dade Apostille offers processing as soon as the same day for eligible documents. Contact us to confirm availability. Missing records, corrections, preparation, translation and shipping have separate schedules. Federal processing and additional legalization are not guaranteed for the same day. Share your complete deadline with our team before arranging delivery.
Local vital-record office in Port St. Lucie
The county vital-record office is at 5150 NW Milner Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983. Call 772-873-4932. The dedicated certificate pages list Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with a noon–12:30 p.m. lunch closure. Confirm current certificate service, holidays and the last time to request your record before visiting. Bring the required identification and eligibility information.
Record pickup is separate from apostille processing
Ask the local vital-record office whether your particular certificate can be issued during your visit. Record availability, eligibility, corrections and the year of the event can affect collection. A rush option does not guarantee immediate pickup. After obtaining the required certificate, contact Miami Dade Apostille for confirmed delivery instructions; the local records counter does not complete your apostille service order.
Florida birth certificates and older records
Request the certified birth record appropriate for the intended use, rather than relying on a hospital keepsake or an ordinary photocopy. The local birth-certificate instructions refer pre-1930 and sealed records to the state Bureau of Vital Statistics. Ask the issuing office about the correct version and eligibility, and send a copy to Miami Dade Apostille for review before arranging processing. A birth registered in another state follows that state's record-custodian route.
Death certificates and access to cause-of-death information
The St. Lucie vital-record instructions describe local issuance of Florida death certificates from 2009 onward. Earlier records follow the appropriate Bureau or online-ordering route. Access to cause-of-death information depends on the age of the record and the applicant's eligibility. Confirm eligibility and the needed copy with the custodian, then contact Miami Dade Apostille about the next processing stage.
Online vital-record ordering through VitalChek
VitalChek is a third-party service for ordering eligible vital records online. It is not a government office, an apostille authority or a substitute for reviewing the required document format. Order fulfillment and delivery are separate from Miami Dade Apostille processing. Contact our team before ordering when the receiving institution's instructions are unclear.
Order vital records online through VitalChek ↗Clerk records in downtown Fort Pierce
The Clerk's Main Office is at 201 South Indian River Drive, Fort Pierce, FL 34950. The Clerk identifies the Research Department on the fourth floor for copy assistance. Call 772-462-6900; general office hours are Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., excluding holidays. Confirm the department and record service before traveling. The courthouse at 218 South 2nd Street is a separate court and jury-duty location.
St. Lucie West Branch: confirm your specific service
The South County Annex is at 250 NW Country Club Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986. The current locations page lists copies for County Civil, Small Claims and Traffic cases, along with marriage services. Do not assume every Main Office record service is available there. Call 772-871-7200 or the Clerk's main number to confirm where your request belongs and whether a visit is needed.
Recorded marriage licenses and certified copies
St. Lucie marriage records are held with the county's Official Records. The Clerk offers electronically certified copies and printed certified copies through its Research Department. A keepsake certificate and a recorded certified marriage license serve different purposes. For a license obtained in another county or state, use that issuing jurisdiction's records. Contact Miami Dade Apostille before selecting paper or electronic format for use abroad.
Divorce judgments, orders and other court records
Identify the actual final judgment, order or other filed document required by the recipient; a case summary may not provide the same information. The Clerk's Research Department assists with court and Official Records copies, including material that is not available online. Requests can take additional time depending on availability and complexity. Ask Miami Dade Apostille to review the document description and copy format before ordering for international use.
Electronic certification and international use
St. Lucie offers electronic certification for eligible court documents and Official Records. Certain confidential or archived records may still require traditional certification, and some documents need staff assistance. A downloaded image is not the same as a certified record. An electronically certified PDF is not itself an apostille; ask Miami Dade Apostille to review format suitability before purchasing or printing it for international processing.
School transcripts: current students and former students use different routes
St. Lucie Public Schools directs actively enrolled and recently graduated students to their school. Other former students can use the district's student-record request route. The district may need time to retrieve older records and complete certification or corrections. Tell the records office what you need and ask Miami Dade Apostille to review the receiving institution's instructions; an ordinary emailed transcript may not be the required final format.
School district contact and replacement diplomas
The district's published contact address is 9461 Brandywine Lane, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986-2209, phone 772-429-3600. Confirm the records department and any collection arrangements before visiting; this general address is not a promise of a walk-in transcript counter. The district does not reproduce diplomas itself. Its instructions require an online request before contacting the designated replacement-diploma vendor, with a separate vendor route for Port St. Lucie High School graduates.
Indian River State College records in Fort Pierce
IRSC's Student Records Department is in the W-Building at Massey Campus, 3209 Virginia Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34981. Contact [email protected] or the college's River Line/Student Records service; the college's main number is 772-462-4772. Official transcript orders use Parchment, with a separate FASTER option for eligible Florida public institutions and agencies. Confirm grades, degrees and any holds before ordering. Ask about the required certification and delivery format; a campus visit does not guarantee immediate pickup.
Pruitt Campus and the right academic record
IRSC's Pruitt Campus is at 500 NW California Boulevard, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986. It is a local college contact, while the dedicated Student Records page places that department at Massey Campus in Fort Pierce. A transcript, replacement diploma, enrollment verification and unofficial student copy are different records. Contact Student Records and Miami Dade Apostille to confirm which document and preparation fit the recipient's request before visiting or ordering.
Notarized documents and Remote Online Notarization
Powers of attorney, affidavits, sworn statements and business documents may require different signatures, witnesses or notarial certificates. Contact Miami Dade Apostille before signing when preparation is unclear. Remote Online Notarization is available for eligible documents, subject to identity checks and recipient requirements. A notarized photocopy does not automatically replace a certified record issued by its authorized custodian.
Florida, other-state and federal documents
The document's issuing authority determines the processing route, not the client's St. Lucie County address. Miami Dade Apostille coordinates the appropriate authority submission for eligible Florida documents, records from other states and federal documents. FBI Identity History Summaries follow federal processing through the U.S. Department of State. Some destinations require further authentication and legalization. Translation can be a separate stage; ask our team to review the full sequence.
