Review your Martin County document before arranging delivery

A recorded marriage license, a certified court judgment and an Indian River State College transcript need different preparation. Contact Miami Dade Apostille with clear copies, the destination and the receiving institution's instructions. We review the record and coordinate the appropriate authority process. Send required originals or certified copies to our team only after confirmed format and delivery instructions.

Why record pickup and apostille processing are separate

Obtaining the underlying document is only one stage. Certification or notarization, authority processing, translation when required and return delivery may follow. An apostille authenticates an official signature or seal; it does not verify every statement in the record or guarantee acceptance for every purpose. Our team coordinates the agreed services while you confirm requirements with the overseas recipient.

Processing time and eligible same-day service

Standard state processing can take months. Miami Dade Apostille offers processing as soon as the same day for eligible documents. Contact us to confirm availability. Record issuance, corrections, preparation, translation and shipping follow separate schedules. Federal processing or additional legalization can require more time. Share your complete deadline with our team before ordering replacements or delivering records so we can confirm eligible service availability.

Stuart vital-record office: where to request certificates

The local vital-record office is at 3441 SE Willoughby Boulevard, Stuart, FL 34994; call 772-221-4000. County certificate guidance directs in-person birth and death requests to this Stuart office, and a June 2026 department notice confirms certificate services there. General building hours are Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Confirm the certificate counter's current schedule and cutoff before visiting; general hours do not guarantee issuance until closing.

Confirm pickup availability for your particular record

Ask the Stuart office whether your eligible certificate can be issued during your visit and whether same-day pickup is available. The current county guidance does not promise same-day pickup for every record. Identification, eligibility, older entries, sealed records and corrections can affect availability. Contact Miami Dade Apostille about the next stage after the underlying certificate is available; local pickup does not include an apostille.

Florida birth records and special requests

Martin's county overview lists Florida birth certificates from 1930 onward. Its detailed guidance directs pre-1930 and sealed birth records to the state Bureau of Vital Statistics. Bring valid photo identification and confirm requester eligibility. A birth in another jurisdiction must be obtained through its proper custodian. Send our team the recipient's checklist before ordering so we can review the format needed for overseas use.

Death certificates: choose the requested version

Local guidance lists Florida death certificates from 2009 onward, with earlier records handled through the state vital-record office or VitalChek. Cause-of-death information is subject to additional access restrictions. Confirm which version the receiving institution requests and your eligibility to obtain it. Our team reviews the document and destination instructions before you send the required certified record to us.

VitalChek for online vital-record ordering

VitalChek is the authorized third-party online ordering service identified by Florida's health department. It is an option for obtaining an eligible certificate without a local office visit. Its ordering and delivery charges are separate from apostille services, and ordering a certificate does not automatically include an apostille. Contact Miami Dade Apostille to review the record format and complete schedule.

Stuart courthouse: Clerk records and certified copies

The Martin Clerk's main office is at 100 SE Ocean Boulevard, Stuart, FL 34994; general assistance is 772-288-5576. The office lists weekday hours of 8 a.m.–5 p.m. The records-request page identifies the first floor of the Courthouse Constitutional Office Building for in-person requests. Contact the relevant department with the record type and available case or recording reference before visiting. P.O. Box 9016 is a mailing address, not a walk-in counter.

Hobe Sound and Indiantown Clerk branches

The Hobe Sound branch is at 11730 SE Federal Highway, Island Crossing Shopping Plaza, Hobe Sound, FL 33455; call 772-546-1308. Its posted schedule is weekdays, 8 a.m.–noon and 1–4:30 p.m. The Indiantown branch is at 16550 SW Warfield Boulevard, Indiantown; call 772-223-7921. Its schedule is Wednesdays and Fridays, 8 a.m.–1 p.m. and 2–4:30 p.m. Confirm the branch can provide your specific record or certified-copy service before traveling; services and pickup arrangements can differ.

Recorded marriage licenses and older entries

Martin's marriage guidance provides online images of recorded licenses from January 1, 1999 onward. For earlier records or help obtaining a certified copy, contact Official Records and Marriage Services at 772-288-5551. A license application is not the completed recorded marriage record. Share the spouses' names and marriage date or available reference with the custodian. Miami Dade Apostille can review the format the overseas institution requests before you order.

Divorce judgments and other court documents

For a divorce judgment, probate order or other case record, ask the Clerk for the specific certified document requested abroad. Have the case number and document description available; access restrictions can apply. An ordinary search printout or a brief dissolution summary may not replace the full judgment. Contact our team with a copy and recipient instructions before paying for a replacement or arranging delivery.

Historical records and electronic certifications

Martin's Official Records index is divided between documents recorded before and after January 1, 1986. A missing result in one search does not necessarily mean the record is unavailable. The Clerk also offers electronic certifications for court and Official Records documents that are viewable electronically; its guidance directs non-viewable certified-copy requests to the office. An electronic certification is different from an ordinary printout. Let our team review the required format before choosing or changing it.

Indian River State College: Stuart support and records office

IRSC's Chastain Campus is at 2400 SE Salerno Road, Stuart, FL 34997; call 772-419-5600 for local campus assistance. The college's Student Records Department is separately located in the W-Building at Massey Campus, 3209 Virginia Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34981. Contact [email protected] to confirm the correct service location and arrangements. Fort Pierce is listed here because it houses this institution's records department, not as a Martin County office.

Ordering an official IRSC transcript for overseas use

IRSC directs official transcript orders to Parchment, with a separate FASTER option for Florida public institutions and agencies. Check that final grades or awards are posted and resolve holds before ordering. Campus support does not mean an official transcript can always be collected immediately. Contact Miami Dade Apostille before ordering to review the requested record format and any preparation for international use; an unofficial transcript printout may not meet the recipient's instructions.

Notarized documents, affidavits and powers of attorney

Contact our team before signing a document that may need notarization, witnesses or other preparation. Florida notarized documents need a complete English notarial certificate. Remote Online Notarization is available for eligible documents, subject to identity checks and recipient requirements. Notarizing a photocopy does not replace a public record certified by its proper custodian. We review preparation before you send required documents to us.

Business documents, records from other states and FBI checks

A state-issued business record and a privately signed business document can follow different preparation routes. A record issued by another state follows that issuing state's authority process. FBI Identity History Summaries follow the federal route through the U.S. Department of State. Living in Martin County does not change the issuing authority. Miami Dade Apostille coordinates the appropriate submission and any additional legalization sequence.

Service for Jupiter Island, Ocean Breeze, Sewall's Point and Stuart

Begin remotely with copies, the destination and your deadline. Our team can review the order before you travel or send originals. Local custodians help you obtain the underlying records; Miami Dade Apostille coordinates the apostille service. Send required originals or certified copies to us only after confirmed format, delivery and return instructions. Where a record was issued matters more than where you currently live.
