Lebanon Embassy Legalization
A family record, university certificate or signed company document may need a different review before it can be used in Lebanon. Miami Dade Apostille helps coordinate Lebanese embassy legalization for eligible U.S. documents from all 50 states and federal authorities. Start with copies and the Lebanese recipient's request so we can review the document and supporting paperwork together. For documents that require the full legalization chain, we can help coordinate state authentication, federal authentication and embassy legalization. The required steps depend on the document and destination. Government and consular authorities issue the certifications; our team coordinates the required services.
Start with the request you received
Share document copies and the Lebanese recipient's instructions. Our team can help review the paperwork and available service.
Documents we can review for Lebanon
Tell us who will receive the document and why it is needed. We review the following groups for eligibility and the appropriate authentication or legalization service:
- Birth, marriage, death and single-status records, plus eligible passport and identity-document copies
- Certified divorce, adoption, probate, inheritance and other court records
- School certificates, diplomas, university degrees, academic transcripts and professional education records
- FBI, state and local background reports, and other eligible federal or government certificates
- Powers of attorney, affidavits, consent letters, authorizations, agreements and other notarized documents
- Life certificates, pension-related documents, employment and experience letters, income verification and financial records
- Medical reports, medical bills and related eligible health documents
- Incorporation records, bylaws, good-standing certificates, company resolutions, contracts and other corporate papers
- Commercial invoices, certificates of origin, shipping records and eligible product, health, pharmaceutical, laboratory or export certificates

The document category matters
Lebanon is not a party to the Hague Apostille Convention, so an apostille alone does not replace embassy legalization where legalization is required. The Lebanese Embassy in Washington publishes different checklists for academic, commercial and personal records. For commercial legalization, it requests a company letter confirming the signer's authority. For school and university certificates, it requires an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. We can review these supporting details, the applicable authentication stages and any translation needs with you. Legalization does not replace civil registration, consular signing or other separate procedures.
Coordinate the U.S. paperwork from where you are
You can work with our team from Lebanon or another country for eligible mail-in services, without traveling to the United States solely for our document service. Before sending originals, confirm the requested document format, your deadline and the return destination with us. Worldwide return shipping is available subject to destination and carrier availability. Separate signing, record-access and government attendance requirements still apply.

Miami Dade Apostille is a private document coordination service, not a government agency or law firm. We do not provide legal advice, complete applications, determine requirements, or issue government records, authentications or consular legalizations. Clients must confirm requirements directly with the Lebanese embassy, consulate or receiving authority. Government and receiving authorities decide eligibility and acceptance.
